Infrared Thermography
Infrared imaging is a great way to find hidden electrical issues, insufficient insulation and even hard to find water leaks. Infrared Thermography uses a special camera with sensors meant to show the difference in temperature within any given environment.
Leaks
Water is typically cooler than room temperature when leaking, this is because it flows and does not have the chance to absorb much heat. Infrared thermography can find these leaks without having to tear walls down or cause any damage to the home until funds are secured for a repair.
Electrical Hotspots
Infrared thermography can also help to find hidden electrical issues. Fire comes from heat, and electricity creates plenty of heat if damaged or installed improperly. We can scan panels, outlets, switches and fixtures and make sure they aren't going to be causing any issues.
